The question has come up a couple of times of "Can you kill someone
who's in the stocks?"
Since someone who's in the stocks still has his hands and upper body
free, the person in the stocks is free to engage in martial combat, at
-3 to all stats across the board. If the person in the stocks becomes
unconscious, you may administer a killing blow as provided in the
combat rules.
