1) family trees (1 more correction)--Richard Montlet (Edward's nephew)
really is named Richard, not Robert.

2) Fencing tournament: 1st part, 8 pm wednesday; 2nd part 8 pm thursday

3) Town sheet: the fine is 2500 crowns, *not* 25000 crowns.

4) Scenario: The Oracle at Delphi-on-Avon
The Oracle at Delphi-on-Avon is a place akin to the shrine of a
saint, where people go to ask for advice and prophecies. It is not
the shrine of any specific Christian saint, but it is tolerated by the
Church as not being the work of demons or anything like that. Some people
believe that the Oracle is the voice of God; some believe it is the voice
of spirits or ghosts; some believe it is superstition. However, its
prophecies have been verified as accurate time and time again. The Oracle
is about a week's journey away from Stratford-by-the-Sea.

5) Inheritance and legal matters
Line of succession questions get very fuzzy very quickly once you
get beyond the easy matter of leaving your property to your oldest son.
Default is that unless you declare otherwise, your things and especially
any land or titles go to your nearest male relative; this can include
daughters' husbands; it does not include illigitmate children unless they
have been legally acknowledged.
If you want to declare someone your heir you must a) sign a
document to that effect which is witnessed by a monk; b) declare (or have
declared) the information in a public place in front of at least five
witnesses. You cannot declare someone to be your heir who is not related
to you unless you get permission from the King, by sending a messenger to
London.
