1) The cybercafe is online at last in 8-205E. Again, the login is
guest, the password is Catastrophe.
2) Due to several unfortunate incidents this evening involving
real-world bureaucracy gone mad, the control room has moved to a
classroom near 1-390 until midnight.
3) For the same reason, cyberspace has been delayed. We expect it up
in another couple of hours, and apologize for the continuing delay.
4) Underwater site mechanic clarification:
If you decide to dive to a site, after taking your bends you can
usually do one of three things: (And only one -- if you want to do
more, dive again... more bends...)
1) There's a list of items that you cvan just take one of. Write down
what youre taking, and make it into an item card at your earliest
convenience.
2) Explore a location. You take out the location-envelope (larger,
white) corresponding to the location you've chosen, read about it,
then PUT IT BACK. You cannot wander off with buildings or other
location-things in your pockets. If the location you search lets you
take something, you do it the same way as in 1 -- copy the item
number, make a card later. You DON"T take the envelope.
3) Take a chance on a random unique thing. Grab one of the
unique-thing envelopes (small, yellow) and keep it. Take the slip out
of it, transform it into an item card as per 1, then leave the slip
and envelope for the GMs. This is the only time you should actually
walk away from the mechanic with anything more than a number written
down.
5) Corps don't need to perform corp-maintenance tonight.
