Errata will be maintained in /mit/jhbrown/Catastrophe/errata. We will
not be changing the text of the rules or scenario; rather, we'll just
update errata. We think it's less confusing that way.
Reminder: We'll be distributing missing stuff starting at 5pm in 1-390.
Rules Errata:
- it takes 1 minute to perform first aid.
- ghosts probably won't have white headbands
- the first digit of a badge is the wearer's apparent age in decades
Scenario Errata:
- *** Guns do not (currently) require permits to be legal.
- the rules for the rumor box have changed from the scenario;
read the rules on it when it's set up for the new ones.
- you can only visit the bad part of town once every six hours while
alone; you can go there as often as you like w/ other people, but nothing
interesting will happen.
- jurys are randomly selected from characters attending the trial.
- fractional bends points are rounded up (for overnight recovery)
- news is given nightly in 1-190, not 1-390
- to use the terminals in 8-205, login as guest, password Catastrophe
Please use athena if you have an athena account. Don't use the
terminals longer than 15 min. when others are waiting. Please just
use them to telnet other places.
- Littleton Sheriff Nathan P. Carter and Mayor M. N. Gitis are out of
town this week.
Misc. Information:
- Any ability marked "spy training" is a spy ability for all purposes.
- If you have an ability that lets you do research, you should have
gotten the research greensheet. Come get one after 5pm in 1-390 if
you haven't.
