I have not worked on Quarks for over 3 years now... I believe the
last version of Linux where I had it compiling clean was on RedHat
Linux 4.2 (this is before glibc became the standard libc, and
LinuxThreads became widely available).

I am sure there are a few glitches involved in building it for a
newer, glibc based Linux system. Unfortunately, since I have never
tried it, I don't know what they are. A friend tried it a while back,
and said that there were a few simple header file glitches, but that
basically it works.

So I don't have the patches you are requesting. It would be great if
you were willing to port this code to RedHat 6.0 (I don't think it
would be that hard, as long as you stick with MIT Pthreads and don't
try to use LinuxThreads). If you do this, I can post (or link to, if
you prefer) your fixed version on my Quarks web page.

Thanks!

Chris
