trouble with compilation

Hi,
I have been trying to install the MIT-Pthreads package v1.60beta6 on my
Pentium 166 machine running Redhat Linux v5.2 (kernel 2.0.36). We have
encountered 2 errors in the process. First, we found a redefinition of the
"CLOCKS_PER_SEC" variable in the include/sys/__time.h file and then there
was a problem with the "time_spec" structure declaration. We also found a
mention of the second in the Whats_New bugfixes report, but it was not
explicitly mentioned if the fix has been ported to i386 Linux.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
