I was trying to use your pthreads library on FreeBSD and ran into a couple
of issues.
1. some of the pthread library code in your package is based on older bsd
code that others are. eg your netdb.h is bsd 1988, while FreeBSD is
bsd 1993 [according to the copywrites in the header comment block.
extern int h_errno;
specifically is not present in your header.
I checked opengroup's unix98 spec and h_errno was defined....
2. has anyone done a iostream safe library so that one can
cout, cerr from threads and have it work? currently no output
from cout, cerr in a thread seems to get to the console....
