pthreads 1_60_beta6 on Solaris 5.5 ?

proven pthreads 1_60_beta6 seems to include a reverse-engineered
libsocket for Solaris but truss(1) shows it generating different
syscalls from the native -lsocket in Solaris 5.5.1.
bind() will sometimes silently bind to a different port -
easy to reproduce this. Is anyone out there?
