Subject: Kindly sedn us the header file pthread.h

Dear Sir,
We have been porting our communication module(presently
working on IRIX 5.3,SGI Platform) on HP-AUX (10.01).
We had already built a class on threads (calling sproc
provided by POSIX library) which gives the user with the same
sort of functionality(though much less in number !!) as pthread.
Can you send us some materials on pthread ?
Something which can cater to our need to know about
the structures (like pthread_attr_t,pthread_mutex_attr etc)
used by the library(OUR HEADER FILES WERE NOT SHIPPED PROPERLY
AND THE PTHREAD.H FILE is missing NOR IS OUR MAN PAGES
COMPLETE.So we are blindly calling the functions refering
them as extern since the archive seems to have it ! We
have informed our vendor but it will involve quite
some time).Your site was our only reference to pthreads.
I THINK LIFE WILL BE A LOT EASIER FOR US IF YOU CAN KINDLY
MAIL US WITH A COPY OF THE HEADER FILE ON PTHREAD.H AND
ANY OTHER MATERIAL YOU THINK CAN HELP US.
Sincerely,
Abhay Tarnekar
