Linux doesn't have a readv (so it seems).

But there is an implementation in engine*linux.c and also a
seperate one in pthreads/readv.c (wrapped by

#ifdef HAVE_SYSCALL_READV

Since Linux doesn't have READV, they both get pulled in
and when I make a shared libary I have a symbol conflict...

Why are there two distinct implementations?
