IP19 - any interest?
What's the difference between IP19 and IP22? I kind of doubt the
pthreads code is going to notice, unless it's something really
fundamental, like using a Power PC chip or something. :-)
Chris insisted on using IP22, despite the fact that config.guess
doesn't say anything more specific than "mips" and he wasn't in fact
determining if an IP22 was in use.
I would be very interested in contacting anyone who has experience with the
pthreads library on SGI's. If you know the answers or could forward this
I don't actually use them, I just bug Chris about configuration
issues. :-)
Also, a detail, I ran the configure script and all's well. When I try to run
make I get a lot of errors (with the makefile). Do the makefiles expect a
particular flavor of make or what?
Yes -- either Berkeley pmake or GNU make.
