Just because we *can* solve differential equations doesn't mean we
*should*.

What have I been saying all term about engineers? Right --- We're
lazy. Well, I suppose other people are lazy, too...

If you speak American, it's Bode [Editor's note: rhymes with "node"].
If you speak a *real* language, it's Bode [Ed: rhymes with "shoddy"].

Mulitiplication's too difficult.

Well, we all know this. Or at least we're supposed to.

I could use decibels to measure the United States Gross National
Product as a response to sinusoidal variations in tax policy,
which is what we seem to be going through right now.

I'm giving you a little culture. We're supposed to be giving you
a little culture and not just this nerdy stuff. It's nice to
know this -- sitting over a beer, saying ``Do you know where
`nepers' [Editor again: rhymes with `jeepers, creepers, where'd
you get those peepers?'] comes from?'' That's culture.

You don't have to remember this, but you will\
