When I was in graduate school at Berkely 15 years ago, there
were a few graduate students in the math department who were
working with Turing Machines.  At that time Berkely was having
budgetary problems, so graduate students didn't have phones in
their offices.  These students decided to call the phone company
and buy their own phones for their offices.  Since they were
part of an instutition, though, they had to pay business rates.
Along with the added cost, though, was an entry in the yellow
pages.  They decided to list themselves as "Turing Machine
Repair Service".  The phone company, however, didn't know what
category this belonged in, so they made a new category:

Turing Machines, repair
