Tell him you're laughing because he's ridiculously oversimplified. From your description, his formula would be better stated as g = sqrt( (n + [HardSF = True] * 10)^2 + min(l,7500) ) And this doesn't make much sense with actual inputs - where's his ranges or normalization? See, plenty to be amused about :-).
