Well, 18.02 is over, except for a final. Mattuck simply said "have
a good summer," and left. He was obviously frustrated, but I think
that comes from teaching a mandatory freshman class which people don't
work hard in.
I agree, the lecture is a mob. But it's good enough that Mattuck manages
to fill 10-250 every day. Every other lecture I go to was full the first
day, and went downhill from there (except before tests).
I've heard Mattuck's much better in 18.063, since there are fewer people
and those taking it are much more serious about the work. I guess I'll
find out a few terms from now. :-)
