Hi.

Either you're confused about what you want, or you sent a question
to the wrong list.
netbsd-help is a list for people who have questions about NetBSD.
It is a free BSD4.4-lite2-based Unix that can run on PC's as well
as several other architectures. It is not Linux, though it can
run linux programs directly.

If you want to install this on your machine (yes, you will get
zephyr, as well as many other things, automatically), we'd
be glad to help. It takes about twenty minutes to install
IF you live in a dorm AND your machine is supported. Otherwise,
it can take much longer.

If, however, you are interested in fixing your linux setup, may
I suggest you send the same question to the linux-help mailing list?
