hi
i'm trying to get rsynth (a text-to-speech thing) to work for netbsd
i got the source from tsx-11 and compiled it on a linux machine
then i copied the binary (called 'say') to my netbsd machine
it doesn't work, though, because it uses /dev/dsp, which i don't have
'MAKEDEV audio' doesn't even attempt to create /dev/dsp
so, i guess i'd like to try to make the device on my own with mknod
but i don't know the netbsd major and minor for /dev/dsp, does anyone?
note: my soundcard is a SB16 compatible, and seems to work fine
i.e. i can cat .au files to /dev/audio, and it works
thanx for any help provided...
