I'm using Xfree86 3.1.2 beta D because i needed the mach 64 server
driver, instead of the athena distribution of x-windows. I installed
the new version, and with the new libraries, x-windows will start up.
But none of the athena programs work because they ask for a different
version of some library files. If i switch libraries, using the athena
distribution one, all the athena software works (like emacs and zephyrs),
but then X-Windows won't start up! All of these library links are wrong!
It seems that ldconfig will only link the higher version...
Can someone help me?
