To: netbsd-help@MIT.EDU Date: Tue, 12 Mar 1996 22:37:08 EST From: Edwin Foo <efoo@MIT.EDU> Hello all, does anyone know how NetBSD-Athena handles local mail? I've been trying to set up a POP server on my work server, but every time I send mail to my new local account that I created just for mail it expands the address to account@mit.edu, which of course fails... do I need to modify my sendmail.cf? I went back through the mailing list archive and found that sdfranks had a similar problem during the summer; the response then was to copy mit.mc and modify it to not expand a particular username and then generate a new sendmail.cf. I tried doing that, but m4 fails with a m4:../m4.cf not found. Has something changed in the 1.1 release so that that procedure no longer works? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Edwin
