binaries for emacs 18.59?

Hi guys,
well, the system's pretty stable now. So other questions come up. One is,
is it possible to run emacs 18.59 on my system? With a 386 and only 8 MB
of memory, running emacs 19 under X is pretty slow... I tried to compile
the source of Emacs 18.59 and didn't get real far... compiler errors in only
the etc part of the emacs distribution! ?? So I was wondering if I'm trying
to do something already done, or that is not do-able...
