Oh boy. I'm running NetBSD with a 3c590, but not easily. Uh, compiling a kernel isn't too hard. However, my problem is finding a libafs that will work with the kernel I compile. Also, you have to run a post 1.1 kernel (i.e. not a real release, but rather from the current tree).
If you want, I can put an isntall disk, in my public directory. You will need to tell it you don't want to reboot at the end, ftp a kernel and libafs and stick them in /mnt/netbsd and /mnt/usr/vice/etc/dkload/libafs1_0A.o respectively (if you get the kernel I'm using, it uses libafs1_0A.1.26.o, but that may be different with another kernel). So, if ghudson, jhawk, yoav, etc. don't have any better plans, let me know...
