The NetBSD 1.1-based installation is now ready to use. To get
documentation on the new install program, pick up a copy of
"Installing NetBSD/i386 on MITnet" from the SIPB office, or print out
a copy from the sipb locker:
attach sipb
dvips -h duplex /mit/sipb/doc/netbsd-install.dvi
Floppies now come from /mit/netbsd/release/netbsd-1.1/i386/floppies
instead of from /mit/netbsd/i386.current/floppies.
Upgrade documentation will be forthcoming, probably today or tomorrow.
The upgrade procedure will not be as simple as the installation
procedure.
Questions should go to netbsd-help@mit.edu. Bug reports can go to
netbsd-dev@mit.edu if you're sure it's a bug.
