1) you can usually find more up-to-date programs in
/afs/sipb/system/i386_nbsd1
(so for example, and ld.so lives in
	/afs/sipb/system/i386_nbsd1/usr/libexec/ld.so
however, it is not always wise to copy those, since sometimes
those reflect changes in the kernel and such and may be
problematic if not updated in conjunction with other things
(i.e., always keep a copy of the program you are replacing)

2) you can find afs libs in
	/mit/netbsd/afs
install them as appropriate, removing the version number from the filename.


By the way, I would really suggest you just wait for the 1.1 install which
is hopefully just around the corner.
