changeing the mouse protocol to "MouseSystems" instead of "Microsoft" cured
the mouse problem. Next one:

The best resolution I can get is by using VGA at 16 colors for a maximum
800x600 resolution. of course you people know how this sucks. SVGA settings
sort of make the screen seem to fold over on itself to form an unrecognizable
desktop. Unfortunately, I do not have a Mach64 or number 9 or any of the
standard accelerated cards, so I doubt I can use those drivers either. My
card is a Matrox Millenium WRAM card with 2Megs. One of the reasons I chose
netBSD over Linux is that I read that matrox hadn't released the techs on
their card, so nobody's written an X driver for it in linux. I was hoping
this wouldn't be an issue for NetBSD. Am I stuck at 800x600 until Matrox gets
friendly? Or has someone else had this problem and found a fix?
