two problems:
1. having trouble getting my video to be anything but 320x240. Got a 17inch
gateway crystalscan and looked up the xf8config settings in Monitors and it
don't work.
2. can't get mouse to work. standard pack-in with my gateway system. choosing
option 1, MSmouse compatible. If I choose the serial mouse option, tty00,
then I get a cursor that don't move. if I choose MSmouse, then startx don't
work because it can't find mouse (I checked, and mouse isn't in /dev). where
is mouse?
beside cheesy resolution and no mouse, the rest is okay.
