Hi guys,
ok, first of all, I gotta say: that's a really nice, smooth installation
process. Even all the Athena stuff... but I'm having some problems now.
1) the athena install sh script didn't work entirely; got hung up on the
AFS cache when I just hit return to accept the default value, and wound up
only sending "afs:/usr/vice/cache:" to /usr/vice/etc/cacheinfo. No biggie;
I just fixed that myself. Otherwise, it seemed to work smoothly... but...
2) I then rebooted, but AFS was broken. I get the following panic (I tried
to get all the numbers and stuff right...)
AFS 3.3 ($ Revision 1.15 $)
Module loaded as ID 0
fatal privileged instruction fault in supervisor mode
type 0 code 0 eip f870eb9d cs f8750008 eflags 10202 cr2 160dc cpl 0
panic: trap
syncing disks... 3 3 1 done
dumping to dev 9, offset 17528
It then does a countdown, and reboots my box. =( Have I messed something
up, or what?
3) 2 other little things, assuming y'all can tell me how to get my NetBSD
to work ever again: how do I change the cursor (I prefer the underline to
the blinking box)? and most basically, how do I add new users??
Thanks much,
Eric
