the error about not being able to unmount when trying to reboot isn't fatal..
just ignore it... (I've had it happen too)
as for the not-being-given-a-choice problem. You need to install a bootloader
before tha happens. One which we generally use and is available in the
netbsd locker (/mit/netbsd/i386/utils) is os-bs-2.0beta8.exe , which does
everything you want. Be sure to make a backup of the MBR before using it
however.
