I am a little confused by the installation process.
Perhaps I need some live phone assistance.
I ran bootinst and it seemed to work.
I have two hard drives and the second (slave) on I had already partitioned
for BSD. I ran fdisk and deleted the second partition (where I wanted to
put BSD).
When it came time to ask which disk/partition I wanted to install to, I
picked the default which I think (in hindsight) was on my disk0. I had not
defraged disk0 so I think it found a very small partition. When I go to the
question about how large my root partition was to be, I hit 16 for the
default and it just asked me the same question again. I think this was
because there was not enoug space on the partition (It was 0Mb and 1008
sectors).
I tried to rerun the installation so that I could pick another disk or
paritition but it keeps saying that it has found a NetBSD partition already
and it is the one that is not big enough. How do I make it give me the
different options again?
Note: When it asked about which disk/paritition I initially wanted to
install to, the other set of disks had numbers like -1 and 1 so I didn't
think that they were the right ones. Maybe it was because I had deleted the
partition (I don't know)
Can you help?
