Greg Hudson, <ghudson@mit.edu> has developed a set of scripts that go
and install these packages, as well as the base operating system, via
ftp from sipb.mit.edu.

You should print out /afs/sipb/project/doc/current/netbsd-install.ps
(which includes the standard NetBSD INSTALL file), for some more
information. Essentially it instructs you to get
i386-netbsd-athena-install.sh via ftp from sipb.mit.edu in
/installkits/i386_nbsd1.

Currently we do not have a corherent source distribution. We're
working on it, but in the meantime, it is nontrivial to rebuild the
Athena pieces of NetBSD/i386 from source, so we suggest you use the
above binary distribution. Much of the source is in
/afs/sipb/project/sipb-athena as well as /afs/sipb/project/netbsd/dev.
Most of the stuff in the netbsd locker, aside from the NetBSD 1.0
source, is non-current or non-helpful...
