Hi,
Finally I succeeded in installing the NetBSD. For the 3c509 problem, I
just simply autoconfigure it again, and keyin "ep0" & "link0 link1", then I
pass all of them.
Now I have problems in configuring X. I wonder what questions it asks
will be critical. For example, I did not find my monitor's configuration in
the /usr/X11/lib/X11/doc/Monitors, I just input a similar machine's configura
tion.(otherwise, what can I do?) I know the horizontal & vertical frequency
of my computer, I also know my Video card and the accelerator.(Diamond Stealth
64 Video RAM, S3-968). Anyway, I think I answer all the questions properly,
however, finally it said "Shall I write it to /etc/XF86Config?", and I keyin
yes. Then it appears:
vm_fault(f82a0000, f86a0000, 3, 0)->1
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
stopped at +5fs_clusteracct.....

And now, I don't know how to leave this "db>" unless I reboot. Does
anyone has similar experience and can help me? Thanks.
