The easiest way to upgrade is probably to:

	* Build a new kernel
	* Pull over the tar files in /mit/netbsd/i386.current/binaries
	  onto your local disk. Do NOT get etc.tar.gz
	* Boot single-user mode
	* From the / directory, untar the tar files
	* Move the new kernel into place
	* Reboot your machine
	* If you want, carefully pull over some of the files in /etc
	  like /etc/rc, from /afs/sipb.mit.edu/system/i386_nbsd1/etc.
	  This isn't especially necessary.

Note that the current tar files are something like two months out of
date.
