Okay, we have a slight problem: you're apparently running NetBSD 1.0
without the 1.0A compatibility patches we have in the Athena kernel.
Since all of our machines are running NetBSD-current right now (we're
putting together a new distribution with Linux compatibility and an
easier installation process), this means we can't easily compile an
xlogin that will work for your machine.
Please try logging in as yourself on a virtual console and doing the
following:
cd /var/tmp
add sipb
attach netbsd
lndir /mit/netbsd/dev/athena/xdm
cd xdm
make
cp xlogin/xlogin ~/Public
and tell me if this all works. If not, I've left the old xlogin in
/usr/athena/etc/xlogin.old; you can modify your
/etc/athena/login/config to use it instead of /usr/athena/etc/xlogin.
