Installation problem with SCSI HD

Hello,
I encounter a serious problem while installing NetBSD on a DELL
PowerEdge 1650 server. When I run the installation process on the hd, a
laconic message is displayed "I can not find any hard disks for use by
NetBSD. You will be returned to the original menu."

My computer has a SCSI hard disk and the controller is the Dual-channel
integrated Ultra3 (Ultra160) SCSI Adaptec AIC-7899 (160Mb/s).=20

Is there a way to successfully install NetBSD on the hd with this
config?
