I'd like to install NetBSD on the computer I've built myself, and am
having a bit of trouble with the installer. It hangs on the AFS
cache scan.
I've heard that there's an NFS installer that might be more helpful,
but the only one I've seen (floppy-nfs-do-not-use.fs) seems to have
even more issues.
Is this a known problem with a fix?
BTW, my hardware is:
SuperMicro BX motherboard w/ P2-350, 128mb PC100 RAM
IBM Deskstar 10gb UDMA drive on IDE0
3C509B ISA NIC
Toshiba DVD-3 drive on IDE1
