modload

Does the `modload` during the SIPB-Athena-NetBSD install add to the
size of the filesystem? The command is:

  modload -v -A /tmp/netbsd -eafsmodload -o /tmp/netbsd_afs \
	/usr/vice/etc/dkload/libafs.o

(from /afs/dev/project/sipb/install/floppy/src/startafs.sh)

I ask because the `gunzip` to create /tmp/netbsd was failing on an
8Meg RAM machine (hanging when the memory filesystem ran out of space),
so I upped the PC in question to a 10Meg machine, and now it is the
modload that is hanging.
