can't find libXext.so.6.1

I just put my computer back on the mit network (it was off for about 2
years), but I cannot run most of the window managers in the
windowmangers locker. I get the error:
/usr/libexec/ld.so: fvwm: libXext.so.6.1: No such file or directory
Where can I get this file?
btw, I am running version 1.1 of netbsd.
