Hi,
I need some help testing the latest Maple 5R4 release, for which a
Linux version is now available- I need someone with root access on a
NetBSD machine with a recently installed OS (one for which Linux
compatibility mode works correctly for recent Linux binaries) to
test if it runs- to try it do the following:
First detach any Maple lockers you may have attached and then do:
add maple_v5r4, then su to root, followed by:
rm /mit/maple_v5r4
ln -s /afs/.athena.mit.edu/software/maple_v5r4 /mit/maple_v5r4
(you can exit from being root after this step).
Now start Maple, either by typing "maple", or "maple.tty", and
let me know if it runs or not....
Thanks,
Alex
