Hi,
I wrote earlier about having trouble allowing users to log in remotely
to my machine. I don't know if anyone can help me, but
I would really appreciate it if someone could. Here are the symptoms:
users who are trying to log in recieve a 'Login incorrect' message,
even if they type the correct password. I have 'fixed' it a couple times
to allow people to log in, only to find a few hours later that they
were no longer able to log in (with no one having touched the computer in
the interim...) I have tried a large number of things to fix it such as
killing noremote, making them local users, etc. I have reinstalled a number
of times, and am not doing anything locally other then try to allow local logins.
I have also reinstalled 1.1, and found that the problem doesn't affect that.
Thanks,
-jonathan
