I'm having a bit of trouble configuring X properly. I run XF86Config,
type in all the stuff about my computer, and startx. When X starts up
though, the resolution is really low, and everything's maginified
quite a lot. Letters are almost an inch high. Do you have any
suggestions?
Here's what I tell xf86config:
3 button mouse, mousesystem, tty00, no 3button emulation
The montior is a Panasonic Panasync s17 monitor. 30-69 kHz Horizontal
refresh rate, 50-160 Hz vertical. The video board is a Diamond
Stealth 64 card (card #102). It suggests running X3, so I do. 1024
VRAM, T1 3020 Ramdac (that's just a guess though), default
resolutions.
Any help would be much appreciated.
