You should be able to get AFS for m68k 8k machines in
/mit/afsuser/sipb-dist/netbsd . However, the README for it says that
the version supports NetBSD-1.1 and NetBSD-current so it may not
work properly on a 1.2 system.

There are some athena programs located at /mit/netbsd/dev/people/jweiss
and /afs/sipb.mit.edu/system/m68k8k_nbsd1, but these programs are fairly old
and may be somewhat outdated. They still should give you some functionality
though. The sources that are used to build most of the athena software used
on NetBSD-athena and Linux-athena systems can be found at /mit/sipb-athena/ .
