Dear NetBSD people,
I have a Linksys Ether16 LAN (NE2000 Compatible) card which refuses
to work at any configuration other than IRQ 9 and I/O Base 260. I tried to
use the default installation disk, but it could not detect the card at these
settings (no 'ed?:' line echoed). Could any of you please build an
installation disk for it?
Alternatively, if you know the solution to this problem, please
instruct me how to change the settings. I ran a:\setup.exe in MS-DOS (Win95
exited), chose 'manual configuration' but got an I/O base conflict for every
value listed. 'Automatic configuration' always configures the card to using
UTP at IRQ 9 and I/O Base 260. Thanks in advance!
Yours sincerely,
Hubert Chen
