A NE2000 TPlus has been giving me trouble. I have a working system but it constantly gives me this error:
ed4: NIC memory corrupt- invalid packet length 65534
The card is setup as:
IRQ 11
Base I/O 300
Twisted Pair
Programmed I/O Mode
Boot-ROM Disabled
The Configuration software did a complete check of the card and reported that all was in good order. I can still use the network with the card under NetBSD as root, but it just hangs if I log into X as myself. Also, the card works fine under Win95.
Thanks.
