MAC addresses are easy to change on 99% of the boards out there.
HOSTID's are easy to change on Suns, as there are a few programs to even 
automate this task for you.

How about we stick to linux security on this list.  For starters people 
should read bugtraq also.

OB linux-security, SVGAlib with convfont being SUID root.  Allows you to 
write any files as root.
