Hi all,

I've decided to cut down on the number of follow-ups to Thomas' post
about including crypto software and other security-related stuff in
Linux distributions. Therefore, I will not approve any more messages
dealing exclusively with the political and legal implications of doing
so. This topic has been hashed out a number of times on other mailing
lists and on usenet, and the basic message is clear: you can't export
crypto software from the US, and even adding the capabilities for
plugging in a crypto module makes a distribution subject to export
restrictions.
