<sigh> You are indeed correct. The noexec option *is* honored but the nosuid
option is not. I've briefly perused the kernel source but I don't see why
this should be the case.
It looks like my testing earlier today was flawed. I just started trying to
track this problem down and I cannot now make the nosuid option fail to work
correctly. It looks like I must have mistyped a mount command earlier. If
anyone has a test case to the contrary, I'll revisit this. Sorry about that.
