I just wanted to agree with the message that came through about SATAN not
worth the hype, but there is another warning that SATAN found on my
system involving the sendmail revision. Apparently the Infomagic CD-ROM
distribution 2.2.0 still has the old sendmail, and SATAN picked this up.
I was impressed. Out of a Linux box, two Suns, and a SYSV machine, Linux
faired second best (the SYSV machine scored top). Suns were not impressive.

[Mod: If you find anything interesting that SATAN detects on your Linux
system, particularly if it is something that comes with a standard
distribution, please drop us an e-mail with details. We'll try to
compile a summary of things that SATAN can find wrong with common Linux
configurations. If you find something wrong with your own homebrew
"distribution" running hybrid SLS-1.0/binaries-from-1993/etc. though,
we're not going to be especially interested... --Jeff.]
