Hi folks,
I've spent the past several weeks trying to get skey working on
my linux box. I've been successful in getting skey to compile and even
run correctly however, I've found one problem with it. Skey on my Linux
box will always generate one-time passwords which are different than those
generated on a Sun Sparc station.
I've actually tried a couple of different versions of skey and I
consistantly get the same results. Has anyone else experienced this
problem and is anyone aware of a solution? I really need to get skey
working on my Linux box so I can connect with other sites running Sparc
stations which require skey.
I have been using skey on Sun systems for quite some time and I have
never experienced a problem such as this. Any help anyone can provide
me will be greatly appreciated. I am aware of at least one other person
who is also having this same problem.
Now for the details: Linux 1.2.1 (and earlier version back to 1.1.76)
Skey-1.1b (Linux version) (Same version on Suns)
PPP-2.1.2b
