Hello all,

First of all, a few words on the NFS patch. Most people that answered
me said it worked OK for them, although there were two that had problems
with the ro/rw flags. I can't reproduce this, so I'd like to hear more
about it if possible. But please send anything NFS-related by private
email unless it really concerns security.

I don't remember who posted the report on tying up nfsd by two nested
mounts, but it's not clear to me how this should work. On one hand,
mount points are resolved locally by your kernel, so there's not actually
a `loop' that could tie up nfsd. What's more, Linux nfsd by default does
not re-export nfs-mounted directories so you can't even create a loop
involving two machines accidentally.

Cheers
Olaf
