most of the wu-ftpd problems are from people not running the current ver..
get beta 11 (12 could be out.. not sure) from ftp.academ.com

all known bugs fixed. If I don't trust sendmail anymore because of its
track record, you can go shouting "but the latest version 8.x.y is safe!"

I think the wu-ftpd situation is better than sendmmail's, but that won't
