I had problems with NetKit-B-0.08 telnet, where when I logged on to a remote
system on a high port (MUD's on ports > 4000 for example) after I put my login
name, and then the correct passwd, telnet was barfing some wierd error, then
crashing..  I wrote the author for this, I'm waiting for a fixed version...
